OSTIM TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY SCIENCE COMMUNICATION OFFICE

Our University's Science Communication Office, established under the coordination of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), will operate to ensure that scientific knowledge and research produced within the university are effectively shared with society, media and international platforms. The aim of the office is to announce the scientific vision of our university, increase the visibility of Turkish scientists in national and international arenas and strengthen scientific communication.

This sub-unit is responsible for ensuring that scientific knowledge is disseminated in an understandable, accessible and effective manner by bringing together academic research, scientific developments and innovative projects at the university with society.

Duties of the Science Communication Office: 

a) To develop and implement strategies to ensure that the scientific knowledge produced at the university reaches all segments of society in the most appropriate and effective way. 

b) To make plans to ensure the participation of the society in the scientific processes at the University, based on the understanding of citizen science, and to organize, execute and coordinate activities in this direction.  

c) To carry out studies that will raise awareness among all internal stakeholders of the university regarding the importance of science communication. 

ç) To plan, execute and coordinate activities in cooperation with relevant units and all stakeholders for the development and dissemination of science communication in the university.
